Repair and Wear
As a thank you to Krista from Repair and Wear who kindly ran us up lots of flags for the kids to paint at St Helena Hospice’s charity bike ride we said we would give a plug for her weekly workshop. If you would like to learn how to revamp, repair or create with fabric, come along to her weekly workshop on Thursdays at the Waiting Room between 10pm and 12 noon. You just need to bring fabric; and sewing equipment and advice will be provided! Find out more on facebook
University cycle rides
If you work or study at the University, check out our Wednesday afternoon bike rides to help employees and students cycle more safely and confidently. The rides are free but need to be booked. Find out more on the Colchester Travel Plan Club website.
Free cycle parking (no longer available – we are trying to find out more)
If you are a community group or small business that would like some bike parking, check out ParkThatBike a cycle parking project that works with local authorities to provide free bike parking. As well as providing a range of bike parking options, they also provide advice on the most ideal and prominent location to place the parking.
