Kidical Mass Colchester
Kidical Mass Colchester is a fun, family-friendly cycling group designed to inspire and encourage children and their families to enjoy cycling together. Part of the global Kidical Mass movement, this initiative aims to promote safe, inclusive, and enjoyable cycling experiences for young riders, highlighting the importance of cycling as a sustainable and healthy mode of transport.
Kidical Mass Colchester is an active group organising 5-6 rides each year for children and their families. Some rides are on quiet, off-road cycle paths whilst others take place in the heart of the city. The children are encouraged to make themselves seen and heard by decorating their bikes, sounding their horns, ringing their bells, blowing their whistles and waving at the smiling onlookers. The purpose is to introduce people to local cycle routes, promote safe cycling for children but most importantly of all…to have fun!
