Family Cycle Trails

A quiet and off road route between Monkwick and the City Centre with a series of activities to do along the way. It takes about 55 minutes to walk and 12 minutes to cycle.

A 4 mile trail exploring High Woods Country Park with some clues to solve along the way. If you solve all of the clues to reveal the secret location and code, return to the visitor centre to get a prize! The visitor centre is open 10am to 4pm and often closed for lunch.

This playwalk has some ideas for activities to do while walking in High Woods. The trail starts at the visitor centre and does a short loop in the woods before returning to the visitor centre. Every time you do this walk it will turn out differently. Go with the flow of your children’s play and enjoy the unique vision they bring to this place!
