Hydraulic Disc brakes are now popular on all sorts of bicycles at every price range.

They provide low maintenance, powerful and reliable braking in all types of weather but the trade-off is that they are a little more complex than cable-actuated brakes and they need some special maintenance and tools to keep them working at their best.

In this course, we’ll cover: the principles of how hydraulic brakes work, how to inspect and adjust them, how to bleed a common Shimano disc brake.

This summer’s classes are all funded by Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival – thank you to them!
