21 & 22 August - Bikeability sessions


Learn to Ride and Combined levels 1 & 2 are available to book.

We are working in partnership with Safer Essex Roads Partnership to offer Learn to Ride and Bikeability Level 1&2 courses for children and adults this summer in Colchester.

The courses will take place at the Corporal Budd VC Gymnasium just off Berechurch Road and conveniantly located off the Garrison and Boadicea Cycle route. The combined Level 1 & 2 sessions will be FREE and the Learn to Ride just £10 per participant. (£5 if you live on or off Layer Road - including Shrub End & St Michaels)

Bikeability Learn to Ride  - 45 minute session for one or two children or adults who are unable to ride.

21st August pm & 22nd August pm

Bikeability combined levels 1 and 2 - Suitable for age 9 to adults - Preparing for cycling on quiet roads, road positioning, communication with road users, recognising hazards, passing parked vehicles/side roads.

21st August am & 22nd August am (attendance on both days required, 8 hour course in total)

If we are oversubscribed we could organise further sessions on the 23rd and 24th August.
